FEED ME!

I have to play a concert in two weeks, and I haven't touched the piano today. There are also two calls for artworks during the same interval of time. Keeping up the piano performing and starting a second career in painting (mostly landscape, but it doesn't matter) might not be feasible. Each art clamors for more time. And, as I well know, no matter how much time you feed the arts, they call for more. Art and Music are insatiable, reminding me of the giant plant in  "Little Shop of Horrors". Before I finish my morning coffee, each is shouting "FEED ME". What's worse is I KNOW that each would hungrily claim all the time I had to give. When I started painting after leaving piano teaching, I promised myself that I would not try to learn the alpha to omega of art, as I had learn the alpha to omega of music for a doctorate in piano. You know what? From alpha to omega is a long, long way. Maybe I should be happy with "kappa" in art? Time will tell.
